Shores of Hawk Run

I was able to finish another block this month, yay!!!! I am stitching Shores of Hawk Run Hollow by Carriage House Samplings. I am using a 32 count linen, and DMC threads. I love this project.

I will be stitching on the big block in the middle next, it has a big sailing ship and a dolphin. It will take me awhile :) I lost my "mojo" for the past few weeks, it was allergies, they made me feel so tired at night, I could hardly keep my eyes open and concentrate. This week I feel much better, so I was able to work on this finally.

Tonight is our school's science fair. Curren has entered a project, and he did such a good job. I am excited to go and see all of the other entries tonight.

Congratulations on finishing Block #3! Your piece is looking wonderful! I'm still working on #3 - got waylaid this week by the BBD freebie that everyone seems to be working on! Can't wait to see your start on the ship block - that is a biggie! I'm been telling myself that it won't be bad when I get there. But I still have to get through 4 and 5 beforehand! You're making such great progess!

Beautiful progress! I'm working on the ship block right now, got caught up in a wonderful audiobook (Water for Elephants) which helped a lot. Now I need to buy another book so I can finish it! ;)

Hope Curren does well at the fair!

Just fantastic Heather! Mine is now all packed up for the move. I got stuck on the lacy corners - they just didn't look nice to me when I stitched them, I'm hoping when I unpack the WIP box, I'll fall in love again!
