Will watch your comments with interest to see if anyone has the bestest solution!!Kathy A.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11666697296593621015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36615958.post-17889011434300037742007-10-19T22:17:00.000-07:002007-10-19T22:17:00.000-07:00I store my overdyes on rings. They then go into their own plastic box which is labelled with my Brother P-Touch. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36615958.post-1692497455996516362007-10-19T21:10:00.000-07:002007-10-19T21:10:00.000-07:00I too am using Floss-away bags and metal rings for...I too am using Floss-away bags and metal rings for my floss. I actually switched from using bobbin boxes to the baggies. It is easier for me to see how many skeins of a color I have, when they're all confined in one spot. heh.

I find it an imperfect system though. Ideally I'd love a cabinet full of itty bitty drawers, with lots of tiny dividers, made out of wood. And then using the baggies/rings for keeping floss for a project all together. But I haven't found one that I both a. liked and b. could afford.

maybe some day. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36615958.post-22315287143148031792007-10-19T19:23:00.000-07:002007-10-19T19:23:00.000-07:00My DMC threads are on bobbins and organized numeri...My DMC threads are on bobbins and organized numerically.. nice and easy to access. My over-dyeds.. well, that's another story. I'm currently trying to make them a bit more manageable myself. Right now, they're in floss away bags and on metal rings and I'm in the process of putting them in alphabetical order. Then I put them in boxes... I find this very cumbersome though and would love to know of another way to store them.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14360696870772219311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36615958.post-52109832925271414872007-10-19T16:34:00.000-07:002007-10-19T16:34:00.000-07:00I store my DMC on plastic bobbins in a thread cabi...I store my DMC on plastic bobbins in a thread cabinet. My overdyes...I put in those little sandwich type baggies with a hole in them you find at Hobby Lobby/Michaels and put them on rings by brand name. Then I put the rings in large plastic bags by brand name...so in other words when I need Crescent Colours I go to my CC bag and pull out my rings the name of the floss is alphabetized (I just cut the floss card with the name and tape it to the baggies).Vonna Pfeifferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16483344299817504410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36615958.post-49769714053641211872007-10-19T16:25:00.000-07:002007-10-19T16:25:00.000-07:00I store my DMC on Stitchbows which I don't care fo...I store my DMC on Stitchbows which I don't care for too much, but my mom bought me a full set of them for Christmas last year.

I store my over-dyeds in the floss-away bags that have holes in the corners. I store the bags on metal rings. I am looking forward to hearing what other people say about this. I don't really like either of my methods! I don't mind the bags, but I need a different way of keeping the bags organized.

Good luck with the pumpkin patch! I have rubbermaid type container the size of shoe boxes approximately and label each one of these with the designer name (weeks dye works, etc.) and all of the colors are in their own individual miniature baggies with a label of their color on the baggie and I keep these in alphabetical order. Hope this helps.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
