Another Log Cabin Layout and....

Well, I did another layout for the log cabin. Do you like this one better? Or the one that I posted before this? Please let me know!!! I need some advice on it :D I like them both a lot, so I am having a hard time deciding.

Also, I got all of the squares cut out for the trip around the world for my cousin. I am doing it on the fusible gridding, so I've divided the quilt up into 9 sections, it is easier to work with it that way. I have gotten the top 1/3 of the quilt done yesterday, so here it is! I like it so far. I think this is one of my most favorite quilt patterns, it's so visually striking if you can get the colors right. :) That gridding sure makes it go fast, I like that... I'm all about fast :)

I got my USEBB Potting Shed exchange all completed this morning, it turned out cute. I'll have a hard time mailing it off. I know my exchange partner will enjoy it though, so I better! :)

I like both setting for your log cabin blocks - I've done both - but this one has always been my favorite.

I like this setting best, I think - it's going to look gorgeous when it's done!

I like this one, the diagonal square as opposed to the diagonal lines. My log cabin wall hanging is laid out like this and I think it's really eye-catching.

But that's just my opinion.... :-)

Either way, it'll look great! I just love those colors!

I prefer the newest on myself! The other quilt is gorgeous too. You are way ahead of the power curve, I haven't even thought about my Potter's Hand exchange yet. You go!

I like this layout the best...it is my personal favorite and the way the Amish lay their log cabins out predominantly :) This is the layout my MIL did for my Log Cabin Quilt I got from her about 5 years ago :)
Yours is beautiful either way...but I really like this layout it draws the eye or something and is calming!

Both layouts are really pretty! I think I like this one a tiny smidge better, for some reason. I think it really suits the gold and blue.

I like this layout...it keeps your eyes in the centre, whereas the other one I seem to travel in the diagonal direction and then off the quilt! It's too pretty not to look at it longer!!!

Now, could you please tell me where you get all your energy from????

Have a great day!

The Log Cabin and another quilt in the works too?! You must be the Energizer bunny!

I've done the other LC, but if ever I make another, I much prefer this layout.

Great colours for your TATW

Hi Heather - Thanks for stopping by my blog! :) I tried to hunt down your email address on your blog, but I wasn't able to find it. So... I do have a digital camera ( a Canon), but the photo editing software doesn't do all that much. I may just wind up buying the least expensive version of Photoshop or Paintshop when I set aside a little money for it. :)

As for the Be Happy freebie - I've asked Becky, but I would love it if you could send it to me (as a back-up in case she isn't able to track it down) If you're able to, feel free to email it, or if you'd like to mail it, please send me a note at arizonah13@yahoo.com and I'll give you my address. :)

Thanks again - its very appreciated! :)
