The quilt block I used is called Converging Corners, a tutorial done by Ashley at Film In the Fridge. This is a good block to use up scraps! I had so much fun making this quilt. I started off with the Lush fabric line by Moda. It has birds and deer on it, with a paint by number look. I loved all of the colors in it, and those fabrics are my center squares on each block.
This is my first "rainbow" quilt I've made. I decided to add purple to this quilt last minute, and I'm glad I did. Purple isn't my favorite color... but this one needed every color!
This is the first block I made.
Then it slowly grew....
and grew!!
I decided to free motion quilt a large flower in each 14" quilt block. It looks really cool.
I used this beautiful Anna Maria Horner print on the back, it looks so gorgeous. I am now on the hunt for my next big project! This was a fun and creative one for me, loved every minute of it!

Heather, what a beautiful, bright, cheerful quilt!
Fabulous! It is totally fabulous!
Wonderful quilt! Those colors are awesome. I also used that AMH print on the back of a quilt. It needs to be used whole, don't you think?
How very, very beautiful!
Gorgeous quilt! I love log cabins, and I love the squares of Lush, and I love the colours. And the backing, and...:). It's great :)
I always love to see your work!! xoxo!!
Inspiring! Must do one of these Converging Corners quilts.
What size square did you use in the center? And did your block finish 14”….
