I heard from Jill last week that she received my F&S exchange! Yay :D I always get a little nervous about mailing hand-made items, the post offices are notorious for eating mail you know. But anyway, it made it. I stitched her a freebie design from Windy Willows, called Poppy. It was so summery and cute, that I could not resist! She says she likes it, so that is always good news :)
And I found some real poppies from my neighbors yard, couldn't resist a photo...
And here's Jessie hiding in some flowers I cut from my front yard. I love summer!!!!

Your flowers are beautiful ;)
A wonderful square and beautiful flowers! :D
Those flowers are gorgeous!
The flowers are gorgeous ... both stitched and real :)
Thank you for visiting my blog and for the link to the poppies chart. I've loved poppies since I was a girl when we had them growing in our front yard. Those were different than the ones we have out here on the west coast - darker, almost red with black around the center, much larger, and the seed pods were about the size of acorns. We kids would take the seed pods out when they dried up and sprinkle the seeds from them like a salt shaker. It's a wonder the front yard didn't look like a scene from The Wizard of Oz! LOL
Oh lovely poppies, both in squares and the real ones :) We have some simple, small yellow poppies in our garden (Iceland poppy, at least that's what the dictionary told me, LOL) and they looked terrible this morning after a heavy rain... I hope they pick up later!
I love those squares for Jill - and your garden photos are gorgeous! Wish I could grow California poppies here.. have never had luck with them.
Pretty squares - love the colours.
Those flowers are gorgeous!
The exchange squares are very pretty, and so are the flowers!!
Very pretty squares!
I have never seen yellow poppies before! How pretty they are and your squares look great. As do those gorgeous pink blossoms! Such wonderful colours make you feel so happy.
Your square for Jill is very nice.
Boy, what gorgeous pink flowers!!! (nice pic too :D)
Oh, I love the summertime too! What cheery flowers; isn't it nice to be able to pick from your own garden to enjoy them inside? I hear it's going to get really hot this weekend, over 100^ here. Stay cool! :)
Lovely stitching and lovely real flowers too. Yes, and that princess of yours is cute.
