The tombstone is complete!

It’s November, it’s cold, and the days are so short now! No daylight left in the evenings means one thing… I get to stitch more :D Ha!

I finally, and I mean finally finished this tombstone block on the Shores of Hawk Run Hollow last night. I’ve only been working on it since AUGUST. I was on a roll with these blocks at the beginning of the year, finishing one almost every month… then summer hit… then I started working on the big ship block. But this block, it is so big! And all filled in! I am not whining, because I actually like filling it all in, it meant I didn’t have to count, or look at a chart :) I love how it turned out, and the little boat is too cute with its sails and ropes. Only 4 more left. The new Schnibbles pattern has been announced for November, it’s called Picnic. It’s so stinking cute. I don’t have this pattern, I’ve got to get it ordered… I’ve got my fabric picked out from my stash, woohoo!
In case you all haven’t noticed, I’ve been posting more often. It’s because I’ve got more time on my hands, and I love having more time on my hands. Life at home has been so much calmer, and I’ve been so much happier. It’s like my stress has gone out the window. I love working part time.

Good job on your Shores block! I am taking this project on vacation next week, and hopefully I can get that big ship done. I know exactly what you mean about cruising along unitl that big ship! I got overwhelmed and moved on. Thanks for inspiring me!
Love the new schnibbles. I'll have to pick that one up!
Take Care. I'm so glad your stress is getting better. I'm sure having more time at home makes everything smoother!
Take Care.

You have made great progress on SOHRH there. That is indeed a huge block but looks so wonderful done.
Glad that working part time has decreased your stress and made life much more enjoyable.

Love your tombstone block. What a lot of work. It is beautiful! I am looking to go to work full-time after 32 years of being a SAHM working part time from a home office...Boo hoo for me! That quilt pattern looks too fun! It would be adorable in the Snippets line from American Jane for Moda!

Wonderful job on your Shores Block!!! Looks like it was a lot of work, but so worth it. I feel hopelessly sad because I stopped at Block 5. Now I'm seeing you working ahead and I think I may have to pick it back up again. And cute quilt too. It looks like it's going to fun to put together.

I can easily understand that you are enjoying your time at home. I was, too, when I was working part time.
Shores is coming along great! And I'm very curious to see the new Schnibbles.

First let me say that I miss you in the Cross Stitch world! Your Shores is gorgeous, as are ALL of the quilt projects I see posted on your blog. You are amazingly productive and do beautiful work BUT I need to know when will you be coming back to the Cross Stitch World? :D

That new quilt pattern looks difficult. I hope it is not too difficult for you.
