The Avengers Quilt!

My friend Becky took our family photos for us this past fall.  In payment for her wonderful photographs of all of us smiling and happy, she asked me to make her a quilt for her sons' bed.
She wanted a full size quilt, using Avengers fabric.  I took me awhile to find some that was awesome enough to use.  I found this fabric in a quilt shop in Anacortes, Washington.
It took me awhile to get my head wrapped around using superhero fabric, it's a change from my usual style, and it was good for me to break out of the norm for a bit.  The pattern I used was derived from a Fat Quarterly post I found online.  It's a great pattern for this fabric!
Now that I'm done, I no longer have the Hulk glaring at me... what a relief LOL!

What a great family photo. And whoa, that fabric, the hulk really dominates it - love the filmstrip effect you created though, a perfect compliment to the fabric.
