Christmas Exchange & tablerunner

I had Barbara for the Birthday/Christmas exchange this year, I was so glad, I love reading her blog. I made her another wall hanging by Blackbird Designs from the Peppermint and Holly Book:
I heard she likes it, yay!!

Also, I made another tablerunner tonight, I used my Crazy Curves templates to make the blocks, it was fun to do, I've never really sewn anything with curves before, so it was definetly out of my comfort zone. I am happy with it, but I had to fuss with it quite a bit.
I stitched a little bit on my November Bent Creek snapper today too, I plan on working on it this month, we'll see if I can possibly finish the whole thing by the end of the year! I am not in any exchanges right now, just the NRR, so I'll have more time to stitch for me right now.

We are all still sick here, I hope I feel better by tomorrow, I have so much to do at work, I can't be missing it right now (but isn't that how it always goes?) So keep you fingers crossed for me :) The kids seem to be much better today thank goodness, I think I got the worst of it.

I feel for you on the sickness thing...I had a terrible sinus infection last week and even though I'm a lot better, I'm not quite 100% yet. I'll be glad when this bug vacates the premises and moves on!

Hope you are feeling better soon. That flu bug is nasty. Your runner is gorgeous. WOW you are so brave doing round. Great job. Your wallhanging is beautiful and I think of you everytime I look at mine. Thank you again so much.

You bet I like it! Thanks again! We've hung the wallhanging in the living room, so everyone can see it. Max was over the moon with his raccoon stitching kit - he was so cute, he kept 'oohing' and 'aahing' over it. :D

I hope you'll be better very soon. Illness - especially so near the holidays - is just the pits!

I'm so impressed with your new table runner - anything with curves is scary to me!

You've been doing some lovely stitching and sewing. I love it all! :) I hope that everyone feels better soon. It's no fun being sick around this time of year.

Goodness, Heather, I hope you're feeling better soon! This is no time to be laid up ill! One nice thing about the children getting older is that the stomach flus and colds don't seem to be as prevalent as they once were at this time of year. How well I remember those Christmases where one child would fall ill, followed by another and . . .
Hugs!

Hope everyone is feeling better! I love the table runner. It is very pretty. I am also stitching the monthly snappers and hoping to finish them this year. I am hoping to start the November one today...working on the border around October at the moment. How do you plan on "finishing" yours when done. My plan had been to frame but someone saw me stitching on it one day and asked if it was a tablerunner...made me wonder.
Happy stitching,
Annette
