Feb Goals / Jan Review

I splurged a bit. I have been wanting to learn to make Jessie a dress, and me a skirt. I found the pattern I’ve been looking at for quite some time on the clearance rack and thought… now is as good of a time as any :) It’s an Amy Butler pattern, and here’s the fabric I got to make it.

And here is the fabric and pattern I got to make Jessie a dress.

Colleen is good at making clothes, so I’m going to be bugging her when I make them LOL! She said skirts are an easy beginner project for clothing, so wish me luck :)

I’ve started stitching a biscornu, it’s a Barbara Ana pattern. I LOVE her patterns, they are so cute and happy. I was pretty excited when I found them recently. Here is my progress so far.

I heard from Marie that she received the PIF I sent her. I read on her blog that she decorated her kitchen with chickens. I happened across this kit for a tablerunner, and decided she had to have it :D Marie and I have been chatting quite a bit, and I really enjoy her friendship! She is wonderful, if you have the time go and get to know her :D

I am pretty sick right now, so not much is getting done except watching my catalog of Jane Austen movies LOL! I stitch here and there, but am so exhausted. I hope to be on the mend soon. Today I got out to the store at least, and that is an improvement :D I hope you are all having a nice weekend!
