May zoomed by!!

May kind of snuck up on me and before I knew it, it was over!  I did a lot of sewing, two quilt tops for my friend were completed, she needed some help on a project she has in the works.  My sister and her family came to visit us, my kids had a myriad of activities, and we played a lot!  So, my posting was non-existent.

Yesterday I was able to complete my Triple Crown quilt top.  I started this quilt at my Sandy Klop class in April.  I was so happy to work on it again.  I need to add appliqued circles to the middle of the white areas to give it the look of flowers.  So, it's very close to being done!
I also made this little baby quilt, it has a lovely minky backing on it.
Oh, and since I loved these two quilt pictures so much, I had to share them.  They are in the 2012 Spring/Summer Quilt Sampler Magazine.  I would love to make them both, they are so great!
Here are a few family photos of us, I have so enjoyed my kids!  With them being 10 and 11 we are able to do so much with them and they are so much fun right now.
My sister came to visit, we had to go shopping at JoAnn!!
We went to see the Tall Ships in Newport, Oregon one weekend, they were amazing!!

My kids and my sister's kids, we had fun tie-dying shirts and attempting to take pictures of them LOL!
I am hoping to be a bit more organized in June, and get some things finished up, and actually make some real posts on this blog :)  I hope you all are having a nice summer so far!

Hi Heather, lovely quilts as always! Oh your kids are so cute, great photos. It's so much fun watching kids grow, isn't it? Mine seem like almost adults nowadays :)
