*this is me happy dancing around* well, trying to, my back is killing me after bending over for so long pinning the borders around it, but it's DONE! I would say this quilt took me a total of 8 hours to complete. That is nothing compared to time spent on all of the others I've made (not like that's a lot) but still, I am very happy :D :D :D Okay, here are the pictures I know you all want to see.
Here it is, all done :D

I really am satisfied with the fabric on this, it is all something I love, and I just can't stop looking at it... okay...
Cross stitching! In between kiddie movies this past week and weekend, I finished up the Shepherd's Bush freebie: Be happy. It still needs the buttons, so I'll need to go to the LNS.
Also, I joined a RR on the Jayne's Attic board, and here is the start of my part, before I send it off to Iceland. I have to have it done by Feb. 19th. No problem :) It is Autumn Winds by The Prairie Schooler.

Beautiful star and I love your Be Happy! I had 'Be True' in my basket at my LNS and asked where the buttons were for it and she handed me a pack--- almost $12 for just the button pack! Then I felt I had to buy them because I had asked! And since the chart said stitch it on 11ct, now I think I have to buy that to make the buttons fit right. *sigh*
Oh, Oh, Oh ... your quilt is just stunning. I'd keep looking at it too. Your "Be Happy" came out great also.
I love the quilt top!!! What an awesome pattern. I have never seen one like that and you did a fantastic job. I was reading your profile and we have a lot of things in common. Must come from both being tauruses. :) Ann.
You sure had a busy weekend! Everything is just beautiful!
Another RR! You're going to be really busy the next few months. I know I'm going to enjoy seeing your progress. :)
Love your quilt top and you finished it so quickly. Are you going to hand or machine quilt it??
FABULOUS quilt Heather and your stitching is DIVINE :)
Congratulations on finishing this - it looks great!
I'm going to respond to the comment you left me here because you come through as "no-reply" because you don't display your email. I live just east of Vancouver in Orchards and it's an easy hop onto I-205 to get down to Fabric Depot. I know many people haven't had good luck with Rowenta, but since the one Rowenta I had lasted over 10 years I'm trying another one. I got the quilt and craft model with no auto shut off (among other things). Can hardly wait to get it home tonight to try it.
Wow - you have been a very busy girl! Your star looks awesome, you did a great job with it. And very nice work on the stitching too!
