Gazebo quilt done!

I finished my Schnibbles quilt yesterday. The pattern is called Gazebo. I love it, it is so cute. I hung it in Jessie's room on her wall. All of our bedrooms have vaulted ceilings. Perfect to hang quilts on in my opinion.

I made my first attempt to free motion quilt on this one. I got a new sewing machine a few weeks ago, and it has that feature yay! It was kind of fun to do, it sure isn't perfect, but it's a start at least.

Also, this was stitched a few months ago. It's Little House Needleworks, Pure in Heart. I finished it into a big pinkeep. I gave it to my friend for Christmas. I like how it turned out!

Portland has been getting so much snow. Well, really it's a few inches. But for Portland, that is a lot! The kids have had all week off of school because of it :) Here's Jessie making a snow angel! Fun!!

I love that quilt. I think I'll look for that pattern when I go shop-hopping in Las Vegas Monday. I took your cue, Heather, and decided to learn how to quilt! I finished my first top last week. Eventually I'll learn how do do the binding. I'll be taking some classes beginning in January.

Hey, that's a gorgeous example of ruching on your project! I'm envious! And your quilting is, as always, superb.

Get-well wishes to Curren!

That's a wonderful quilt! We had 9 inches over my way and the "icing" this morning. Have to put the chains on to get across town to work tonight, I think. I had a snow angel out there yesterday, too. Stay warm!

You have been so productive! Your latest quilt is great. What kind of machine did you end up buying and does it have a stitch regulator for machine quilting???
Love the edge on your pinkeep...love the pinkeep as well. :)
We are being hit with a bunch of snow too...brrrr! No Snow Angel making for me. LOL
Have a wonderful holiday.

My sister is going to visit a friend in Portland after Christmas and they're all freaking out about the snow...LOL! Here, we've had NO snow. We had a very tiny dusting a few weeks ago, but that's been it. New Orleans, Las Vegas, the Pacific Northwest get the snow, we get nothing. Puh.

Love the horse picture in Jessie's room. I've seen that picture somewhere...maybe one of the Quarter Horse magazines...??? I remember the picture because of the way he's running and his white markings. (freakish memory, here...)
