The sea is calling me...

I started a new quilt!  I know, bug surprise huh??  When I went to the Sisters Quilt Show in July of last year with all of my girlfriends, we stopped at The Stitchin' Post in Sisters and went shopping.  I walked out with this lovely stack of shot cottons and cross weaves for a quilt from the book City Quilts.  This quilt reminds me of the sea, the colors are so soothing.
I finally started cutting into them, and I am in love.
I have never made a quilt out of all solids before, so this is a lot of fun!

I love that book - and that quilt! I actually got to see it in person when Cherri came to speak at our guild. Great fabrics you chose - yours will be beautiful, I'm sure!

I heard Cherri here in Houston...and she's an amazing teacher! Can't wait to see it!

I wondered when you were going to start this one! I'm surprised you didn't start it sooner since I know how much you were swooning over it when you bought the fabrics. =)
Does this mean you've finished the last one?
